Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel, representing First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., congratulated the newly elected Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) officers during their induction ceremony held today, July 24, in Barangay Tabun, Angeles City, while reaffirming the commitment of Congressman Lazatin’s office to support programs that promote quality education.
In her message, Manuel emphasized that PTA officers play a vital role not only as parents of their own children but also as partners of the school, the Department of Education, and the government in ensuring the welfare and holistic development of every learner.
“Hindi lamang po kayo magulang ng inyong sariling anak. Kayo rin po ay nagsisilbing mga magulang ng buong paaralan. Bilang mga PTA officers, katuwang po kayo ng Department of Education at ng pamahalaan sa hangaring maitaas ang kalidad ng ating edukasyon,” Manuel said.
Manuel also assured the officers that the office of Cong. Pogi Lazatin remains committed to supporting initiatives that benefit students, parents, and the education sector.
“Kami naman po sa tanggapan ni Congressman Pogi ay lagi ninyong maaasahan na kaisa ninyo sa hangaring ito,” Manuel added.
Manuel concluded her message by congratulating the newly elected officers and encouraging them as they begin their service to the school community.
