BULACAN PNP ARRESTED 6 GUN VIOLATORS AND OFFENDERS

Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos — The diligent efforts of Bulacan Police led to the apprehension of six individuals in the different anti-criminality operations by Bulacan PNP on September 22 and early today.

PCol. Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director, Bulacan PNP, stated that Santa Maria MPS cops implemented a search warrant for gun possession in Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Santa Maria Bulacan and arrested Jesus Bagumbayan Jr. The intelligence-driven operation confiscated from the arrested suspect’s possession one (1) piece Colt caliber.45 pistol with serial number 816532 and one (1) piece magazine for caliber.45 loaded with two (2) live ammunitions and were brought to PFU-Bulacan for Firearms Ballistic Examination.

Moreso, the arrested suspect has an outstanding warrant of arrest for Qualified Theft issued by RTC Branch 7 Kalibo, Aklan. Criminal complaint for violation of RA 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act is being prepared against the suspect prior to his turn over to the court of origin of his WOA upon the issuance of a commitment order.

Additionally, San Ildefoso police arrested another suspect for gun possession in Brgy. Malipampang, San Ildefonso, Bulacan. The suspect was identified as Randy Clemente, a security guard and a resident of Brgy. San Jose, San Miguel, Bulacan. Patrolling police officers arrested the suspect when he failed to present his identification card, the firearm license, and the Certificate of Authority from the COMELEC. Confiscated from his possession were one (1) unit of caliber 9mm pistol with serial no. 989891 and unknown trademark, one (1) magazine for caliber 9mm, and two (2) pieces of ammunition for caliber 9mm. Recovered pieces of evidence were brought to PFU-Bulacan for a Ballistic Examination.

 

Meanwhile, Anti-Illegal drug operations conducted by the Bulacan Provincial Drug Enforcement (PDEU) and the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Rafael MPS arrested two (2) drug peddlers on a separate drug sting operation in Brgy. Cristo, Angat, Bulacan and Brgy. Tambubong, San Rafael, Bulacan. Arrested suspects were identified as Christopher Suarez and Almar Cruz (included in the drug watchlist). A total of 5.4 grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug price of thirty-six thousand seven hundred twenty pesos (Php 36,720.00), were recovered from the arrested suspects.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.

 

On the other hand, manhunt operations conducted by the Tracker team of Meycauyan and Pulilan PS arrested Jojo Madrid and Dondon Ventura, both for the crime of Qualified Theft.

All the arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit or station for proper disposition.
