Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – As the campaign against illegal drugs continues to intensify, police authorities were able to seize more than Php360k worth of suspected Shabu and arrested a drug peddler in Pampanga on Wednesday, April 13.
Joint elements of Minalin MPS, RPDEU3 and SCU-RID3 conducted buy-bust operation at Brgy. San Nicolas, Minalin, Pampanga that resulted in the arrest of Alezandro Cunanan y Mesina, 43 years old, and resident of Donia Victoria Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga.
Confiscated pieces of evidence from the suspect were two small to medium-sized heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less of 54 grams with estimated DDB value of Php367,200.00; one (1) piece of Php1,000.00 buy-bust money; nine (9) pieces of Php1,000.00 boodle money; one (1) unit of Realme cellphone; driver’s license; and one (1) white Mio Sporty motorcycle with plate number 6454PF.
Appropriate charges for violations of Sec. 5 and 11 of Art II of R.A. 9165 are being readied against the suspect for court referral.
