PRO3 seizes P43.9M drugs, apprehends 243 wanted persons, recovers 199 loose firearms 

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) scored significant gains in its intensified anti-criminality campaign after seizing more than ₱43.9 million worth of illegal drugs, arresting 243 wanted persons, and recovering 199 loose firearms across Central Luzon from June 7 to 13, 2026.

As part of its Campaign Against Wanted Persons, PRO3 arrested 243 fugitives, including 40 Most Wanted Persons and 203 Other Wanted Persons. 

The accomplishment underscores the region’s continuing efforts to track down individuals evading justice and ensure their appearance before the courts.

The region also strengthened its campaign against loose firearms, resulting in the arrest of 37 individuals and the recovery, surrender, or confiscation of 199 firearms. 

Authorities said the operation contributed to ongoing efforts to prevent firearms from falling into the hands of criminals and being used in the commission of crimes.

Meanwhile, PRO3 sustained its aggressive anti-illegal drugs operations, conducting 192 operations that led to the arrest of 268 individuals and the filing of 172 criminal cases. 

The operations yielded illegal drugs valued at more than ₱43.9 million, along with the recovery of cash and other pieces of evidence.

PRO3 Director PBGEN Jess B. Mendez credited the accomplishment to the dedication of police personnel and the continued support of the community.

“These accomplishments reflect the dedication and hard work of our personnel in carrying out their mandate to enforce the law and keep our communities safe. While these numbers are encouraging, they also remind us that our work does not end here. We will continue to intensify our operations against wanted persons, loose firearms, and illegal drugs while ensuring that all actions are conducted within the bounds of the law and with full respect for human rights,” PBGEN Mendez said.

The Regional Director emphasized that these accomplishments contribute to the Philippine National Police’s broader efforts to maintain peace and order and create safer communities throughout Central Luzon.

He also assured the public that PRO3 remains committed to delivering responsive and effective police service under the leadership of Chief PNP PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.

“Patuloy nating pagtitibayin ang ating kampanya laban sa kriminalidad upang matiyak na ang bawat mamamayan sa Central Luzon ay makapamuhay nang ligtas at payapa. Ang ating mga tagumpay ay bunga ng pagtutulungan ng pulisya at ng komunidad,” Mendez said.
