Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced the completion of the P14.47-million Ditalyon Road project in Barangay Paltic, Dingalan.
Constructed under the 2024 national budget, the 0.391-kilometer concreted road replaces a previously rugged trail, improving access to key attractions in the municipality.
“The road improves access to Dingalan’s scenic destinations and offers a smoother travel experience, providing a welcome upgrade over the former rough trail used by both tourists and locals,” Andal said.
He further noted that the road is expected to enhance mobility in the area, making it easier to reach popular attractions and supporting daily travel for residents.
The scope of work also included stone masonry and slope protection, measures aimed at stabilizing the terrain, preventing erosion, and safeguarding nearby residential areas from potential hazards.
