Lazatin condemns slaying of Angeles LGU employee

ANGELES City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has condemned the killing of a City Hall employee who was found dead in Brgy. San Juan, Mexico town on Wednesday.
Lazatin has ordered the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) to conduct a thorough investigation into the death of EJ Antonio Gabriel who went missing on December 27. Gabriel was last seen aboard a Toyota Vios with plate number CDJ 7507 along the Megadike Access Road in Porac town.
Lazatin said justice should be served to the bereaved family of Gabriel.
The LGBTQ+ members of Angeles City has also condemned the death of Gabriel and also called for a probe into his mysterious death.
Gabriel’s body lies in state at the Pangilinan Memorial Chapel in Angeles City.
Lt. Col. Grace Yerro Naparato of the Mexico Municipal Police Station earlier issued a flash alarm after they found an unidentified male cadaver on Wednesday morning in Brgy San Juan, Mexico town, which bore a resemblance to Gabriel who was reported missing the day before.
