
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — The Provincial Government of Pampanga headed by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda distributed more than P4.5 million in cash of medical assistance to 102 Kapampangans on Monday, June 1, 2026.
The distribution activity reaffirms the provincial government’s commitment to providing healthcare support to residents facing serious medical conditions and financial hardship.

Among the beneficiaries was Arlene Esperanza, who has been battling leukemia for over a decade.
She was among the patients who received financial assistance to help defray the costs of treatment, medications, and other medical needs.
Both Pinedas’ underscored the importance of preventive healthcare and early medical consultation, encouraging Kapampangans to prioritize their well-being and seek immediate medical attention when necessary.
The distribution of medical assistance forms part of the provincial government’s continuing efforts to improve access to healthcare services and ease the financial burden of patients and their families.
In a separate activity, Governor Pineda personally extended her condolences to the families of 50 recently deceased Kapampangans.
To assist them during their time of bereavement, the Provincial Government provided ₱5,000 in burial assistance to each family to help cover funeral-related expenses.
