THREE more bodies were recovered today in the collapsed nine-storey building in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City.
Responders recovered the 18th casualty at 11:10am, 19th casualty at 1:13pm, and the 20th casualty at 1:19pm.
The Bureau of Fire Protection said they are now speeding up retrieval and clearing operations amid intermittent rains.
The Unified Command noted three more individuals remain unaccounted for.
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II said they are closely monitoring the situation through the Unified Command System and has directed all concerned agencies to sustain close coordination and provide the necessary assistance and support to affected families.
