DRUG DEALERS, LAW OFFENDERS ARRESTED IN BULACAN

Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Twenty-three drug dealers, seven wanted felons, and seven illegal gamblers were arrested during a stepped-up police operation in Bulacan on April 4, 2023.

 

Based on the report submitted to PCol. Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director, Bulacan Provincial Office, twenty-three (23) individuals involved in the illegal drug trade were arrested in a series of anti-drug busts conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEUs) of Plaridel, Meycauayan, Norzagaray, Malolos, Sta. Maria, Bulakan, Guiguinto, Hagonoy, and CSJDM City PS. Seized were fifty-eight (58) sachets of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.

 

Meanwhile, a series of pursuit operations by the 1st PMFC, Bocaue, CSJDM, San Miguel, Guiguinto, Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), and Paombong City PS to track-down wanted felons resulted in the successful arrest of seven (7) wanted persons. They were arrested for the crimes R.A. 7610, Rape, Violation of BP 22, Theft, Acts of Lasciviousness and Violence Against Women and Children. All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.

 

In addition, seven (7) illegal gamblers were arrested in anti-illegal gambling operation steered by the operatives of Marilao Police Station; they were caught in the act of playing an illegal card game (tong-its). Confiscated evidence consists of two (2) sets of playing cards and bet money in different denominations.

 

Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being readied for filing in court.
