STA. MARIA, Bulacan — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced on Wednesday that the P4.9-million concreting of a section of a local road in Angat, Bulacan was already completed.
The 0.880-lane kilometer section located in barangay Binagbag was implemented by DPWH Bulacan 2ndDistrict Engineering Office.
District Engineer George Santos said the project aims to improve the transportation of farm products and enhance residents’ access to essential social and health services while promoting public safety, particularly during the rainy season.
“We are committed to delivering more road projects to support the local government’s efforts in improving rural connectivity,” he emphasized.
Aside from enhancing local services, the completion of the infrastructure will contribute to the advancement of the local economy.
The agency allotted P4.9 million for the project under the 2023 General Appropriations Act.
