CONG POGI SUPPORTS LOCALLY-MADE XMAS DECOR

FIRST DISTRICT, Pampanga – As the ‘Ber Months’ start rolling in, Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. is preparing early for the Holiday season through the purchase of locally-made Christmas wreaths made by the young wards of the Angeles City Social Welfare and Development Office Home for the Girls, or Bahay Pag-asa.

“Kilala ang Pilipinas sa pagkakaroon ng ‘longest Christmas celebration’ sa mundo, at pinaghahandaan natin ito sa pamamagitan ng pagsuporta sa local Christmas crafts,” Lazatin said.

The Christmas wreaths, which were made by hand, are part of the livelihood activities for the Bahay Pag-asa wards.

It can be recalled that last Holiday season, Lazatin also purchased the mini Christmas Trees made by the wards of Bahay Pag-Asa.

During his time as Angeles City Mayor, Lazatin led the rehabilitation of the Bahay Pag-asa, which received its accreditation also during Lazatin’s time.

The Bahay Pag-asa Christmas wreaths are being sold at P350 each and may be purchased from the CSWDO through their Facebook page.
