CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Central Luzon Regional Director PBGen Mathew Baccay said that police authorities in Nueva Ecija were able to seize more than Php 20M worth of shabu during an anti illegal drug operation in Cabanatuan City on April 6, 2022.
According to PCol Jess Mendez, Acting PD, Nueva Ecija PPO, joint operating teams from PPDEU/PIU- NEPPO, CIDG PFU NE, PDEA RO3 NE, Cabanatuan CPS, 1st and 2nd PMFC, RID3 and RDEU 3 conducted anti-illegal drug operation at Lakewood Subdivision, Brgy. Sumacab Este, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija which resulted in the arrest of Sittie Pindatun, female, 30 years old and Nor-an Bilal, female, 26 years old.
Seized from the duo were two (2) smart cellular phones, two (2) pieces sealed green Chinese Pin Wei plastic tea bag, ten (10) pieces knot tied transparent plastic bag containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing approximately 3kg with DDB value of Php 20,400,000.00 and Php 1,000.00 bill marked money.
Appropriate charges for violations of Sec. 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165 are being readied for court referral.
Baccay said that the entire Central Luzon police force is continuously keeping on its toes to eradicate all forms of illegal drugs in the region.
“Our campaign against illegal drugs, which is one of the main operational thrusts under the Intensified Cleanliness Policy of our Chief, PNP continues to be aggressive and effective because of the intensified intelligence-gathering and operations as well as constant coordination with the PDEA,” Baccay added.
