GOV. DANIEL FERNANDO

The recognition means that their office exceeded the minimum expected level of service delivery and has remarkable innovations and initiatives in the identified work areas.

PSWDO Head Rowena J. Tiongson received the plaque of recognition during the 71st Founding Anniversary of the DSWD with the theme “Napapanahon na Pagtugon sa Suliranin ng Taong 2022 Kabalikat ng Bawat Pilipino” held at OTEL Pampanga, City of San Fernando, Pampanga recently.

Governor Daniel Fernando said that caring for the poor, vulnerable, and disadvantaged has always been part of his priority agenda because the people deserve the right to feel the services of the government.

“Isa na naman pong patunay ng tapat na paglilingkod ang ating nakamit. Ngunit higit sa parangal, ikinatutuwa po nating mabatid na maayos nating natutugunan ang pangangailangan ng bawat Bulakenyo, lalo na ang mga lubos na nangangailangan ng ating pagkalinga,” the governor said.

Meanwhile, during the awarding, DSWD-Field Office 3 Regional Director Marites M. Maristela thanked their partners in the national government agencies, local government units, and non-government organizations in delivering social programs to their constituents.

“Today, we pay tribute and recognition to all our partners and stakeholders to share with us a collective aspiration and cause for providing social services to our target clientele. As such, today is a time to celebrate our collective success for all our contributions, motivations, and inspirations,” Maristela said.

Other Local SWDO that received the same honor includes MSWDO of Plaridel, Bulakan, Baliwag, and Guiguinto in Bulacan; CSWDO of Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija and Olongapo City, Zambales; and PSWDO of the Province of Bataan.
