CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Forty-two law offenders including four most wanted were arrested as the Bulacan PNP continues its weeklong Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) on Thursday.
Based from the report submitted to PCol. Rommel Ochave, Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP, eighteen drug personalities were arrested in different anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Municipal/City Police Stations of Balagtas, Baliwag, Bocaue, Bustos, Malolos, Marilao, Meycauayan, San Ildefonso and San Miguel.
A total of fifty sachets of suspected shabu, cal .38 revolver loaded with live ammunitions and buy-bust money were seized during the operations.
Meanwhile, anti-illegal gambling operation conducted by Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) resulted in the arrest of nine illegal gamblers.
They were caught in the act of engaging in illegal gambling activities (playing cards & mah-jong). Confiscated were playing cards, set of mah-jong paraphernalia and bet money in different denominations.
On the other hand, service of search warrant conducted by the elements of DRT MPS resulted in the arrest of Martin Canada of Kalawakan, DRT, Bulacan. Recovered evidences are cal .45 pistol, magazine assembly and live ammunitions.
The implementation was conducted in an orderly manner and in the presence of elected Brgy. Officials, Media and DOJ representatives.
Appropriate criminal complaints against all arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
On the other hand, fourteen wanted persons including four most wanted were arrested in different manhunt operations conducted by the tracker team of C/MPS of Angat, Balagtas, Meycauayan, Norzagaray, Plaridel, SJDM, Sta Maria, 1st & 2nd Bulacan Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC).
Four most wanted person were identified as Romeo Punzal Jr arrested for Robbery; Mary Ann Fujen for Murder; Joebert Laurente for Frustrated Murder; and Jeff Salazar for Rape. All accused are now under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.
