Stolen vehicle recovered, suspect arrested in Angeles City

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) continues to demonstrate its firm resolve in maintaining peace and order after police operatives swiftly arrested a robbery suspect and recovered a stolen vehicle following a break-in incident in Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City, in the early hours of October 12, 2025.
The victim, identified as “Grace,” 35 years old, a housewife, reported that unidentified suspects forcibly entered her residence through a window and carted away valuables including jewelry, watches, foreign currency, and her silver Mitsubishi Mirage.
Acting promptly, personnel of Police Station 4, Angeles City Police Office, launched a follow-up operation that led to the arrest of one of the suspects identified as “Jhunlie,” 31, a construction worker from Mexico, Pampanga.
Recovered from his possession were the stolen Mitsubishi Mirage, a brown sling bag, rubber shoes, and assorted clothing belonging to the victim.
Authorities also identified another suspect known as “JP” and two unidentified accomplices who remain at large. A manhunt operation is ongoing for their immediate arrest.
In a statement, PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., Regional Director of PRO3, commended the swift and coordinated response of the operating team, noting that the successful operation highlights the effectiveness of the Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) — one of the flagship initiatives under the Focused Agenda of Acting Chief, PNP PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.
“This swift response is a clear demonstration of how effective the Enhanced Managing Police Operations framework is when implemented on the ground,” PBGEN Peñones Jr. said.
“Under the guidance of Acting Chief, PNP, PLTGEN Nartatez Jr., our police units are empowered to act decisively and intelligently against crime. We will not allow criminals to undermine the sense of safety in our communities. PRO3 remains steadfast in keeping Central Luzon safe and secure,” he added.
