Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Guided by the vision of Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief PGEN Nicolas Torre III for Swift and Responsive Public Service, courtesy visits to local government units (LGUs) across Central Luzon have been intensified to rally support for the PNP’s 5-Minute Response Time goal — a key pillar of the Chief PNP’s leadership program.
Regional Director PBGen Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. has been personally meeting with provincial, city, and municipal officials to align peace and order strategies, strengthen partnerships, and secure local support for police operations.
During these engagements, some LGUs have already donated communication equipment and mobility assets to help meet the response time goal, while others have pledged to extend similar assistance in the coming days.
These contributions are expected to greatly enhance police visibility, rapid deployment, and immediate response to emergencies.
“We deeply appreciate the unwavering support of our LGUs in helping us meet the Chief PNP’s call for a swift and responsive police service. These partnerships — built on trust, cooperation, and shared responsibility — are vital in making our communities safer and more secure,” Peñones said.
The ongoing courtesy visits have also provided an avenue for open dialogue between the police and LGUs, allowing both sides to share insights, address community-specific concerns, and develop joint programs tailored to local needs.
PRO3 remains steadfast in carrying out the PNP’s mission of protecting lives and property, enforcing the law, and promoting peace and order — in close partnership with LGUs and the community.
