The Angeles City Government through the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. officially opened the National Arts Month Celebration through an ON-THE-SPOT PAINTING EXHIBIT at the Santungan ning Kalalangan, Abacan Loop, Balibago, Angeles City on February 1, 2024.
Local Angeleño artists, in real-time, unfold their masterpieces to inspire audiences in further nurturing the Kapampangan Culture and Arts in Angeles City.
Present during the event are Hon. Vice Mayor Ma. Vicenta Vega-Cabigting, Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Liga Ng Mga Barangay President Hon. Danilo Nacu, Museum Curator Bettina Arriola, City Legal Officer Atty. Ralph Macalino, City Librarian Erma Manalo, AUF Dance Troupe Director Rommel Guina and Mutya Ning Angeles 2023 Grand Winner Genica Mae Cruz.
Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO) led by Anneleen Antonio-Sugui spearheaded the activity with the supervision of Manuel.
The said event is in cooperation with Pamitipun king Panyulung Ning Kalalangan at Amanang Kabiasnan Kapampangan.
