TOP 10 MWP, 10 LAW BREAKERS AND 5 DRUG SUSPECT ARRESTED

CAMP Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — A Most Wanted Person (MWP), including seven  wanted felons, five  drug dealers, and three  illegal gamblers, were all apprehended in Bulacan PNP’s intensified anti-crime drive on February 24, 2023, and early this morning.

Based on the report to Col Relly Arnedo, PD of Bulacan PPO, the arrested person was identified as Mark Edward De Guzman y Venturina, (Top 10 Municipal Level of San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija), 38 years old, married, and a truck driver presently residing in  Brgy. Coral na Bato, San Rafael, Bulacan.

A joint operation between the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and San Rafael Police MPS led to the arrest of the accused, Mark Edward De Guzman, tagged as the Top 10 Municipal Level (MWP) of Nueva Ecija, wanted for violation of the crime of Qualified Theft under criminal case number 27230-23, with Php 100,000.00 bail recommended by virtue of a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 36, Gapan City, Nueva Ecija, dated February 9, 2023.

Similarly, persistent pursuit operations by the tracker teams of Norzagaray, San Jose Del Monte, Baliwag, CIDG Bulacan, Marilao, and Bocaue led to the arrest of seven (7) wanted felons.

They were arrested for the crimes of murder, cybercrime, anti-trafficking in person, acts of lasciviousness, qualified theft, and unjust vexation, All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.

Meanwhile, Roniel Pontalba, Blessie Alcantara, Maryjane Sta. Cruz, Allex Villarin, and Dante Dacuscus were arrested as part of a series of anti-drug arrests made by the Marilao, Bocaue, and San Miguel PS Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), which included the recovery of fifteen (15) sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and marked money.

Further, anti-illegal gambling conducted by CIDG Bulacan and Hagonoy PS caught three (3) individuals in the act of engaging in color games. Confiscated evidence is a set of color game boards, three (3) pieces of wooden dice, and bet money.

Appropriate criminal complaints have been filed against the suspects, who are currently in the custody of the respective arresting police station.

By diligently enforcing current laws and implementing fresh measures, including greater police presence, intelligence-led policing, and contemporary crime prevention strategies, the Bulacan PNP is committed to strengthening its fight against illicit substances and hindering other criminal activities.
