Police seizes P400M shabu, 2 Chinese nationals arrested 

Two Chinese nationals were arrested while P408-million worth of shabu sezed during anti-illegal drug operation in Pampanga on September 14, 2022.
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Joint operatives of the Special Operation Unit-National Capital Region (SOU-NCR), Police Regional Office 3 Drug Enforcement Group (PNPDEG), Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEG) NCR conducted anti-illegal drug operations which resulted to the confiscation of more than P400 million worth of illegal drugs (Shabu) on Wednesday afternoon, September 14 in Pampanga.
 
PRO3 Regional Director PBGen Cesar Pasiwen the operation was held at Lakeshore along NLEX, Mexico, Pampanga which resulted in the arrest of two Chinese nationals identified as Wenjie CHEN Alias “Harry”, 45 years old, married, and a resident of Brgy San Antonio, Gerona Tarlac and Sy Yan Qing,  42 years, married, and a resident of Banawe St., Sto Domingo, Angeles City.
 
Seized from the drug suspects were 60 pcs vacuum sealed plastic chinese tea bag with estimated weight of sixty kilograms containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P408,000,000.00; 5 pieces of genuine One Thousand Peso bill marked money; One unit of cellular phone; and assorted identification cards and documents. 
 
Investigation showed that the duo are cohorts of subjects listed under COPLAN APOCALYPTO who are notorious in peddling volumes of illegal drugs in the areas of Metro Manila, Regions 3, and Region 4A. 
 
“The series of accomplishments highlight the government’s stiff anti-illegal drug campaign and all police units are working closely together to eliminate drugs in the country and we are continuously strengthening our intelligence operations focusing on the source of illegal drugs to arrest and put them behind bars,” Pasiwen said.
