PNP launches Oplan Payo: Adopt-A-Station

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) launched a pioneering initiative, “OPLAN PAYO” (Professional Advisers to Young Officers) under the revolutionary “Adopt-A-Station” concept.

This forward-thinking program underscores the PNP’s unwavering commitment to shaping a brighter future for law enforcement by nurturing and guiding the emerging leaders of PRO3.

Oplan Payo is set to redefine the landscape of police training and mentorship.

PRO3 regional director Jose Hidalgo Jr. said its primary objective is to instill the highest standards of professionalism and a deep-rooted sense of community service in young officers, empowering them to become leaders in their own right.

The program’s fundamental vision is to establish a sense of unity and shared responsibility between seasoned, experienced officers and the emerging generation.

As these young officers progress in their careers, they will carry forward the invaluable wisdom, values, and principles imparted to them by their mentors.

This, in turn, will set in motion a ripple effect of positive transformation within the police force and the communities they serve.

Hidalgo added “OPLAN PAYO provides hope to those who believe in the transformative power of mentorship and education.

The Police Regional Office 3 is taking a proactive stance in nurturing the next generation of dedicated, compassionate, and principled police officers who will serve as beacons of hope in their communities.

“OPLAN PAYO is not just another program; it’s a vision for a brighter and safer future,” said PRO3 director.
