Pandi cited in MosLiv Awards 2022

THE role played by government officials, business professionals, private individuals and organizations  toward nation-building and sustainability was given recognition during the Nation Builders and Mosliv Awards 2022 held at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila in Parañaque City on November 25, 2022.
 
Pandi, Bulacan Mayor Enrico Roque is one of the mayors who received recognition as Local Chief Executive of the Year while the municipal town as Certified Most Livable Municipality in the Philippines.
 
“Seeing every problem as opportunity. Opportunity to learn and to grow. Ang mga awards po na ito ay alay ko para sa 180,000 thousand na mga Pandieño na naniniwala sa mabuti at maayos na serbisyo. Serbisyong puno ng Puso at Talino. Para sa atin ito!” Mayor Roque said.

Most Sustainable and Liveable or MOSLIV serves as a guide to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for a global climate-neutral society by 2050.

MosLiv aimed at providing inspiration for those in key positions, or roles of influence, to advocate for responsible and earth-friendly, or green, practices.

The awardees were given honor for their exemplary accomplishments as leaders, initiatives, and organizations who have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice and worked to reduce the negative impact of their business on the environment.

Other local officials who were recognized and awarded are Cabiao, Nueva Ecija Mayor Ramil Rivera who was awarded as Honorary Local Chief Executive of the Year and Cabiao as the Most Sustainable and Liveable Municipality; Panay village in Santa Marcela, Apayao, as the Most Sustainable and Liveable Barangay in the Philippines; General Emilio Aguinaldo, Cavite Mayor Dennis Glean as Local Chief Executive of the Year; Mandaue City Rep. Emmarie Ouano-Dizon as Congresswoman of the Year; Tiglawigan, Capiz City Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman Melvin Derecho Er-er as Honorary Public Servant of the Year; and Calinog, Iloilo Mayor Francisco Calvo as Mayor of the Year.

Seven Mosliv awards were handed out, nine for the Nation Builders awards and 21 Most Sustainable and Liveable Awards (Business Category).
