P276K illegal drugs seized, 98 arrested in anti-criminality drive by Bulacan police

MALOLOS CITY — An estimated P276K worth of illegal drugs were seized while 98 individuals were arrested in an anti-criminality drive of Bulacan police on Monday.

In his report on Tuesday, Col. Charlie A. Cabradilla, acting Bulacan provincial director said that in the series of anti-illegal drug busts by the different Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Bulacan PNP resulted in the arrest of 19 suspects.

Seized were a total of eighty-four (84) sachets of shabu with an estimated weight of 40.708 grams with a total Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) value of P276,814.40, two units of caliber .38 revolver, six live ammunitions for cal .38, motorcycle, belt bag, bundle of empty small transparent plastic sachets and buy bust money.

Meanwhile, Cabradilla said different anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by operatives of Bulakan, Meycauayan, Pandi, Paombong, SJDM, 1st & 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) resulted in the arrests of 37 illegal gamblers.

“They were caught in the act of engaging in different illegal gambling activities such as online E-sabong, lucky 9, STL bookies, pusoy, tong-its, poker and cara y cruz,” Cabradilla added.

Confiscated were bundle of papelitos, notebook, ballpen, laptop, calculator, key board, pad paper, deck of playing cards, billiard cue, set of pool picha, three pieces of one-peso coin and bet money in different denominations.

Appropriate criminal complaints against all the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.

On the other hand, different manhunt operations conducted by the elements of Bulacan police resulted to the arrest of 42 persons wanted by law including 3 most wanted identified as Angelo De Jesus @Bobby, MWP Angat MPS; Richmond Salvador MWP Norzagaray MPS both arrested for Violation of RA 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act); and Christian Roy Esposo Top 8 MWP Sergio Osmeña MPS, Zamboanga Del Norte for Robbery. All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
