THE Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) said on Sunday that the ongoing construction of P19-million dialysis center in Sta. Maria, Bulacan is in near of its completion.
2nd DEO District Engineer George Santos and Assistant District Engineer Gene S. Leaño assessed the progress of the ongoing construction of the said one-storey health facility where he
expressed his satisfaction with its development.
“I am pleased with the progress of the project which is now 89% complete. But we are aware of the importance of this facility to dialysis patients living in Sta. Maria and nearby areas in the 6th district of Bulacan hence, the assigned project engineer has been instructed to speed up the construction process,” Santos said.
The P19 million health facility has a total floor area of 788.2 square meters and when completed, it can accommodate up to 34 patients.
“Once the dialysis center opens, patients no longer need to travel to other municipalities for their treatment thus providing convenience to them as well as their companions,” Santos added.

onstruction of the project began in March 2022 and is funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act.
