NPA REBEL SURRENDER TO BULACAN POLICE

Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos — A Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) member voluntarily surrendered to the Bulacan PNP in the City of Malolos, Bulacan on October 17, 2023. 

 

Based on the report to PCOL RELLY B ARNEDO, Provincial Director, Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BUL PPO), the surrenderer was identified as alias Ka Ome, 32 years old, fisherman, a member of Rebolusyonaryong Hukbong Bayan (RHB), and operating in the coastal areas of Bulacan, Bataan, Pampanga, and Zambales. He was convinced to join the aforementioned rebel group for Government reform to attain equal rights and avoid social injustice.

 

The Force Commander, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) said that on October 17, 2023, at about 10:40 a.m. in Camp Alejo S Santos, Brgy. Guinhawa, Malolos, Bulacan, joint elements of the 1st PMFC, Bulacan PIU, 2nd PMFC, 301st MC RMFB, 24th SAC, 2SAB PNP SAF, and 70IB PA facilitated the surrender of the subject.

 

Alias Ka Ome turned over one (1) unlicensed firearm described as one (1) cal..38 revolver without a serial number, and two (2) pieces cal .38 live ammunition.

 

The surrendered CTG member is presently under the custody of the 1st PMFC for investigation and custodial debriefing.

 

Bulacan Police is stern on its intensified campaign against insurgency and terrorism to ensure the provision of social services, employment opportunities, and improved quality of life in communities that have been experiencing or are vulnerable to armed communist conflict. (
