CITY OF MALOLOS — The Provincial Government of Bulacan, through its Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO), secured first place in the Best Performing Local Cooperative Development Office – Provincial Category at the 2026 Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Gawad Parangal held on October 28, 2026, in Stella Maris Hotel, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur.
Commemorating Cooperative Month 2026, the awarding ceremony honored exemplary cooperatives, local leaders, and development partners nationwide for their profound impact on advancing the cooperative movement.
At the core of this achievement is the PGB’s banner GoKoop Program, initiated by Governor Daniel R. Fernando, which seeks to empower cooperatives as vital partners in economic growth and community development, wherein PCEDO continues to advance initiatives that create opportunities for cooperatives to grow, improve their operations, and contribute to the province’s inclusive and sustainable development.
“Patuloy nating susuportahan ang mga kooperatiba bilang mahalagang katuwang sa pagsusulong ng kaunlaran at pag-unlad ng ating lalawigan,” Fernando said.
PCEDO Head Atty. Jayric L. Amil, also expressed its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the achievement, emphasizing that the recognition serves as an inspiration to further strengthen the cooperative movement in Bulacan.
