CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – An alleged motornapper died during a shootout with operatives of Cabanatuan CPS early Monday, October 31, 2022 in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
Based on the reports submitted to PRO3 Regional Director PBGen Cesar Pasiwen by the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office, the slain suspect, who was identified as Crisanto Reyes y Binuya, was on board a blue RUSI motorcycle which was the subject of a hot pursuit operation for a reported motornapping incident that transpired in Brgy. Kapitan Pepe at about 12:30 in the morning.
Operatives of Cabanatuan CPS spotted the suspect along Purok Centerville, Brgy. Dionisio S. Garcia, Cabanatuan City. While being flagged down, the suspect opened fire prompting the police to retaliate and fatally wounding the suspect resulting to his immediate death.
Recovered from the scene were one (1) color blue Rusi motorcycle without license plate attached, one (1) caliber .45 pistol, two (2) pieces fired cartridge cases for caliber .45 and three (3) pieces fired cartridge cases for caliber 9mm.
