Kapebaluan earns P5.6M in 2 years

Kapebaluan Café, which celebrated its second anniversary on March 17, 2024, has earned P5,625,084 in total gross sales with 2,556,150 in total net sales for the past two years.

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. is thanking Angeleños for patronizing the city-run café, serving as a great assistance to the local coffee farmers.

“Maraming-maraming salamat po sa inyong mainit na pagtanggap sa Kapebaluan, mula noon hanggang ngayon,” Lazatin said.

“Every cup that Kapabeluan is serving is a testament to the hard work behind it, from our farmers to the staff who are offering a good drink for us Angeleños,” Lazatin added.

The Kapebaluan was conceptualized by Mayor Lazatin in March 2022 with Chief Adviser IC Calaguas with Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel and the late City Engineer Donato Dizon.

Kapebaluan is being managed by the Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Office headed by Irish Bonus-Llego.

It is now offering 18 flavored drinks – and some of its bestsellers are Carmelo, Reina, Hibiscus Tea, Donato, Vanilla Machiatto, Latte, Strawberry and Cream, and Bluberry Matcha.

For her part, Bonus-Llego mentioned the city is purchasing kilos of arabica and robusta beans from the Angeleño farmers, which are mainly used at the café.

The said beans are also available at the One Town One Product store of the city, she says.

Kapebaluan is located at the ground floor of the City Library in Barangay Sto. Rosario.
