FORT MAGSAYSAY, Nueva Ecija – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in collaboration with 84th Infantry (Victorious) Battalion together with the Local Government Units of San Jose City and Carranglan, Nueva Ecija facilitate the conduct of an entrepreneurial seminar to Former Rebels (FR), Women’s Sector, Senior Citizen, PWDs and owners of micro-enterprises affected by fire incidents and other calamities on July 20 and August 08, 2022 respectively.
18 Former Rebels are among of the participants who benefit the Enterprise Development Training and likewise they were beneficiaries of the DTI’s “Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa”, a livelihood seeding and entrepreneurship development program that aims to support micro-enterprises and other beneficiaries that were affected by fire incidents, other calamities and health pandemic.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Enrico Gil C Ileto, Commanding Officer of 84th IB expressed his utmost gratitude to the Department of Trade and Industry, Nueva Ecija for actively supporting the efforts of the government in bringing peace and development in the province by providing interventions to uplift the lives of Former Rebels (FRs) and be able to start a new together with their families.
On the other hand, Major General Andrew D Costelo, Commander of 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division thanked the San Jose City and Carranglan LGU and the DTI for extending their services to the people that are affected by the fire incidents and other calamities and assured that the Kaugnay Division will always be of assistance to their initiatives.
