DTI Bataan holds Women’s Month Trade Fair

BALANGA CITY — About 38 female micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) currently participate in a trade fair organized by Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bataan.

Likha ng Bataeños Trade Fair is being held at Vista Mall Bataan in line with the celebration of National Women’s Month. 

DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug said this is one of their activities to help empower and uplift the livelihood of women.

Aside from the ongoing trade fair, Cabahug shared that they will also launch the One Town, One Product Next Gen program to help boost the quality of their products as well as capacitating women to be more competitive in the local market. 

For its part, Vista Mall Bataan Head Marivic Intal said they have always been a partner of DTI in exhibiting local products to help local MSMEs as well as the local economy especially during the pandemic. 

The trade fair will run from March 18 to 21.
