DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO PUBLIC SCHOOL, DAY CARE STUDENTS

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on September 11, 2023 visited five public schools and five day care centers in the city to distribute free school supplies.
 
Some 8,731 public school students and 211 day care learners received their backpacks with a complete set of school supplies including textbooks, crayons, coloring pads, notebooks, pens, and school shirts paired with a set of shoes and socks.
 
Mayor Lazatin was joined by Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, City Councilors Atty. Arvin Suller, Dan Lacson, Edu Pamintuan, Alex Indiongco, Cris Cortez and Sangguniang Kabataan President Arnoah Mandani during the distribution of school gears.
 
To date, Mayor Lazatin has already distributed school gears to five public schools and 21 child development centers.
 
The distribution of items to the other 50 public schools and 51 day care centers will follow suit via schedule.
 
With the supervision of Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, members of the City Nutrition Office, and City Social Welfare and Development Office joined and assisted Mayor Lazatin in the set distribution.
 
One of the inauguration promises of Mayor Lazatin is to provide quality and accessible education, saying “No Angeleño youth will be left behind in terms of education.”
