FORT MAGSAYSAY, Nueva Ecija – 159 new soldiers graduated from a 6-months rigid Basic Military Training at 7th Division CAA Affairs Unit (7DCAU) Headquarters, Brgy. Canantong, Laur, Nueva Ecija on July 7, 2022.
The Candidate Soldier Course Class 709 – 2021 cross trained with Infantry Orientation Course class 03 – 2021 consist of 159 new soldiers, wherein 25 are special enlistee, and 134 are regular candidate soldiers.
The Commander of 7th Infantry (KAUGNAY) Division, Philippine Army MGen Andrew Costelo PA led the graduation ceremony of Candidate Soldiers Class 709 – 21 dubbed as class “NASIGLAT”.
MGen Costelo reminded the newly graduated soldiers to redouble their efforts by following command and internalize the order of their officers so that they could probably eliminate the stigma of engaging conflict.
Maituturing na malaking tagumpay ang pagtatapos sa ganitong klaseng pagsasanay kung saan natutunan ninyo ang mahahalagang bagay na magagamit paglabas ninyo sa training school. MGen Costelo added.
Private Jimmy T Deso-Acido ranked as top 1 with an average of 91.76%, Private Florencio U Castolo jr received the Physical Proficiency-Award for having the highest Physical Fitness Test average 94.80.
