CAMP ALEJO S. SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (Bul PPO) activated the Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit (TMRU) on October 17, 2022, at about 10:00 A.M., at the parade ground of Camp General Alejo S. Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

According to Col. Relly Arnedo, OIC, Bulacan PPO, the activation of TMRU was launched by the Bulacan PPO in order to thwart the number of incidents committed by lawless elements, which include robbery hold-ups and shooting incidents, among others. This will improve police officers’ capacity to respond to street crimes in a high-speed tactical manner while crippling the capabilities of motorcycle-riding offenders.

The Governor of Bulacan Province, Hon. Daniel R. Fernando was the honored guest and speaker during the TMRU activation launch.

The Chiefs of Police of the various City and Municipal Police Stations, as well as the Force Commanders of the 1st and 2nd Bulacan Provincial Mobile Force Companies (PMFC), will designate and deploy motorcycle cops to conduct patrols and maintain police presence along major thoroughfares in pursuit of lawbreakers.

This will utilize rigorous countermeasures to capture or prohibit criminals, including suspects riding motorcycles, as well as their networks and support systems, from carrying out their nefarious activities.

The Bulacan Police, in support of the Bulacan Provincial Government’s program on the intensified campaign against all forms of criminality, is steadfast in launching counter-measures towards its campaign against all forms of criminality, while also ensuring the safety and protection of every Bulakenyo.
