Bulacan PNP busted drug suspect, P1.8-M shabu seized

Camp Alejo Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan – Authorities scored a major victory against the proliferation of illegal drugs with the arrest of a high-value individual by joint operatives from the Calumpit Municipal Police Station and the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) of Bulacan  in Barangay Pio Cruzcosa, Calumpit, Bulacan on Sunday.
 
PCol Relly Arnedo, director of Bukacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) said the suspect was identified as Wilson Clavito, 51, married, businessman, also known as alias “Choco” from Barangay Poblacion 1, City of San Jose Del Monte, he was arrested during an anti-illegal drug operation.
 
Investigation showed that the operating teams seized eight transparent plastic bags containing approximately 270 grams of suspected shabu with standard drug price of P1,836,000.00 along with marked money.
 
Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 has been readied against him for court referral while ongoing investigations seek to uncover any potential connections or accomplices involved in his alleged illegal drug trade activities.
 
PRO3 Director PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr. said that the apprehension of “Choco” signifies  PRO3’s relentless fight against illegal drugs, demonstrating the determination of law enforcement agencies to uphold the rule of law and safeguard communities from the adverse impact of illegal drugs in line with the directives of newly installed Chief PNP, PGen Rommel Francisco Marbil.
