Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Four drug peddlers, two wanted persons, four illegal gamblers, and two law breakers were arrested by Bulacan Police in different operations conducted on September 2, 2023.
Based on the reports to PCOL RELLY B ARNEDO, Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP, a buy-bust operation was conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the San Jose Del Monte City Police Stations, and four (4) drug suspects were arrested. They were identified as Carlos Malicsi, Joey Gonzales, July Mitas, and Jayson Manlapaz. They were arrested for selling suspected illegal drugs. Seized during the operations were eight ( 8 ) plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 20,400.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, two (2) wanted persons were arrested in different manhunt operations conducted by the tracker team of the Municipal City/Police Stations of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and Bocaue. They were arrested by virtue of different warrants of arrest. They were identified as Cheska Paulene Reyes arrested for Qualified Theft in Purok 5, Brgy. Sagrada Familia, Hagonoy, Bulacan; Rodrigo Dela Cruz Jr. arrested for Violence Against Women and their Children (RA 9262) in Brgy. Brgy. Duhat, Bocaue, Bulacan.
All the accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.
On the other hand, Bulacan PNPs campaign against anti-illegal gambling operations in San Jose Del Monte City Police Station led to the arrest of four (4) individuals: Petronio Del Mundo, Rio Del Mundo, Flordeliza Ape, and Mercedina Guilalas. They were caught in the act of playing an illegal game (Mahjong). Confiscated evidence included one (1) set of mahjong tiles and bet money in different denominations.
Additionally, the authorities of Malolos and Baliuag City Police Station responded to different crime incidents that resulted in the arrest of two (2) individuals. They were identified as Ronnel Torres, arrested for Frustrated Homicide in Brgy. Matimbo Malolos City, Bulacan, and Alyas Alfredo were arrested for Acts of Lasciviousness in Relation to RA 7610 in Brgy. Tilapayong, Baliwag City, Bulacan. An appropriate criminal complaint is being prepared for filing in court.
