As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship through SM Cares, SM City Baliwag participated in a simultaneous tree-planting initiative spearheaded by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Sitio Durumugan, Barangay Kalawakan, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan.
Together with the local government units and private sector partners, SM City Baliwag helped plant an estimated 1,000 tree seedlings in support of reforestation initiatives and the preservation of the area’s natural ecosystem.
The activity demonstrates SM Supermalls’ commitment to creating a more sustainable environment by restoring forest ecosystems and promoting a greener, more resilient future for the community.
