Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. has been ranked as the No. 1 mayor in Pampanga by Hypothesis Philippines.
Hypothesis Philippines is a non-government organization which spearheaded the independent and non-commissioned job performance survey.
Mayor Lazatin ranked 1st in the said survey, garnering a 91.8% job performance rating.
Lazatin said that this only shows that his administration is fostering accountability, enhancing transparency, facilitating continuous improvement, and promoting good governance.
“Isa po itong karangalan na mabigyan ng ganitong pagkilala at magandang feedback mula sa ating mga kababayan,” Lazatin said.
“Dakal pung salamat! Magsisilbi po itong inspirasyon para sa buong Angeles City Government na mas lalo pong paghusayan ang serbisyo publiko, katuwang po ang ating mga manggagawa na binubuhos din ang kanilang dedikasyon,” Lazatin furthered.
The Lazatin administration has been delivering programs and services closer to Angeleños, flagship programs of which are mainly for health, education, social and welfare services, livelihood, infrastructure development, anti-drug efforts, disaster-resilient programs, and peace and order.
The survey was held last February 25 – March 13, 2024 with a total of 10,000 respondents who were registered voters. The sampling margin of error is +1/-1 percent with a 95% confidence level, where respondents were randomly chosen.
