Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — During enhanced police operations on September 21, 2023, Bulacan officers apprehended several drug peddlers and wanted felons for various crimes and offenses.
In reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, a series of successful drug sting operations conducted by the Marilao, Bustos, Pandi, Baliwag, and Angat PS led to the confiscation of a total of fifteen (15) sachets of suspected shabu and six (6) sachets of suspected dried marijuana, along with marked money. The suspects, identified as Rolando Cortez, Eliseo Manuzon, Jannet Pinesa, Loreno De Castro, Jeffrey Mangalus, Artemio Ugale, Christian David, Camille Corpuz, and Carmela Joyce Garcia, were promptly arrested.
All apprehended individuals and the confiscated evidence were transferred to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for thorough examination. Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 have been prepared against the suspects for filing in court.
Moreover, five (5) additional felons wanted for various crimes and offenses were arrested by warrant officers of San Ildefonso, Guiguinto, San Miguel, Bocaue, and CSJDM PS. The felons—S. Baricante for violation of Sec 5 (I) of RA 9262; A. Dizon for RA 9262; J. Rivere for R.I.R Damage to Property; E. Manlabao for Slight Physical Injuries; and R. Garcia Jr. for Estafa are all presently under the custody of the respective arresting units/stations for proper disposition.
