8 DRUG PEDDLERS, 6 WANTED, 5 ILLEGAL GAMBLERS ARRESTED IN BULACAN

Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos —- Nineteen lawbreakers were nabbed in the different anti-criminality operations conducted by Bulacan PNP on March 11, 2024, and early today.

In reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director, Bulacan PPO, a series of buy-bust operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit by operatives of Malolos CPS, San Miguel, and Calumpit MPS resulted in the arrest of eight (8) drug peddlers. Confiscated during the buy-bust operations were a total of twenty-two (22) plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 5.9 grams and an estimated drug price value of forty thousand one hundred twenty pesos (Php 40,1200.00) and buy-bust money.

 

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of joint operatives of San Jose Del Monte CPS, Guimba MPS, and RMFB 3; Meycauayan and Malolos CPS, Bocaue, Bulakan, and Marialo MPS resulted in the arrest of six (6) persons wanted by law by different virtues of Warrant of Arrest.

On the other hand, an anti-illegal gambling operation conducted by Norzagaray MPS successfully led to the arrest of five (5) suspects while they were caught in the act of playing an illegal coin game (Cara y Cruz) that transpired in Sitio Curvada, Brgy. Minuyan, Norzagaray, Bulacan, at around 7:35 in the evening of March 11, 2024. Confiscated from the arrested suspects were three (3) pieces of one-peso coins and bet money in different denominations.

All the arrested accused and suspects are presently under the custody of the arresting Police station for proper disposition.
