11 Drug peddlers, 9 wanted felons, 2 gamblers arrested in Bulacan

CaAMP Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Eleven drug dealers, nine wanted felons, and two gamblers were arrested during a stepped-up police operation in Bulacan on March 15, 2023.

 

According to the report submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, eleven suspected drug dealers were arrested in a series of anti-drug busts conducted by various Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEUs) of Bulacan police. Seized were twenty-one (21) sachets of suspected shabu, three (3) sachets of dried marijuana leaves with a total DBB value of forty-six thousand one hundred sixty pesos (PHP 46,160.00), assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money. The said drug suspects were all arrested during a series of drug sting operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Meycauayan City, Sta. Maria, Plaridel, Bustos, and Bocaue.

 

Meanwhile, a series of pursuit operations by the 1ST PMFC, Sta. Maria, Malolos, San Jose Del Monte CIDG Bulacan, Paombong, and Bocaue C/PS to track down wanted felons resulted in the successful arrest of nine (9) individuals. They were arrested for the crimes of qualified theft, estafa, RA 7610, slight physical injuries, and lascivious conduct. All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.

 

Moreover, the anti-illegal gambling operation of the Plaridel Police Station led to the arrest of two (2) illegal gamblers. They were caught in the act of playing cara y cruz. The recovered evidence is three (3) coins used in pangara and bet money in different denominations.

 

Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being readied for filing in court.
