TWENTY LAWBREAKERS ARRESTED BY BULACAN PNP

Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos — The diligent efforts of Bulacan Police led to the apprehension of twenty individuals in the different anti-criminality operations by the Bulacan PNP on September 5 and early today.

PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director, Bulacan PNP, said that the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Malolos and Baliwag CPS, Guiguinto, and Balagtas MPS conducted an anti-illegal drug operation that resulted in the arrest of six drug peddlers. Confiscated from the arrested suspects were a total of twenty sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 7.17 grams and an estimated standard drug price value amounting to forty-eight thousand seven hundred fifty-six pesos (Php 48,756.00), assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, a series of manhunt operations conducted by the Tracker Team of joint operatives of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, RMFB 3, and San Jose Del Monte CPS, San Miguel, Santa Maria, Plaridel, Marilao, and Bustos MPS, Meycauayan, and San Jose Del Monte CPS resulted in the arrest of twelve (12) wanted persons by virtue of Warrants of Arrest.

All the arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit or station for proper disposition.

In San Miguel, Herbert Dela Cruz, 37, of Brgy. Salangan, San Miguel, was arrested by responding police officers of San Miguel MPS for the crimes of Alarm and Scandal, two (2) counts of Attempted Murder, Illegal Possession of a Bladed Weapon in relation to the Comelec Omnibus Election Code, Malicious Mischief, and Direct Assault that transpired at Brgy. Salangan, San Miguel, at about 7:00 in the evening of September 5. Confiscated from the arrested suspect was a deadly weapon (a jungle bolo) used in the incident.

Meanwhile, in Malolos, Sammy Recaido Delos Santos, 42, of Mac Arthur Village, Brgy. Longos, Malolos City, was arrested by responding police officers in a hot pursuit operation for the crimes of Grave Threat and R.A. 10591 in relation to the Comelec Omnibus Election Code that transpired at Mac Arthur Village, Brgy. Longos, Malolos City, at about 8:30 in the evening of September 5. Confiscated from the arrested suspect were one (1) improvised firearm, one (1) live.45 caliber ammunition, and one (1) Squires Bingham air gun rifle.
