Sinukwan Festival school-winners get cash incentives

ANGELES CITY — The city government under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr.  announced on Sunday that cash incentives will be given to the winning schools in the recently concluded Sinukwan Festival 2024.

Lazatin will give P50,000 to Angeles City National Trade School (ACNTS); P40,000 to Cutud Elementary School (CES); and P20,000 to Gueco Balibago Elementary School (GBES).

“These incentives are our way of recognizing and rewarding the hard work and talent of our young Angeleños,” Lazatin stated. “Their performances remind us of the importance of nurturing the arts and preserving our Kapampangan heritage.”

The mayor emphasized the city government’s continued commitment in supporting programs that will uplift the youth and promote cultural and arts excellence.

“Our students deserve all the support we can give to help them excel in bigger platforms,” Lazatin said. “On behalf of Angeleños and the city government, I am immensely proud of how they represented Angeles City with such passion and pride.”

He also expressed gratitude to the teachers, coaches, and barangays behind the schools.

“This is a victory for the entire city. Let us celebrate their achievements and continue to work hand-in-hand for youth development and arts and culture,” Lazatin concluded.
