Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos —- Eighteen individuals were nabbed in the different anti-criminality operations by Bulacan PNP on August 23, 2023, and early Thursday.
PCol. Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director, Bulacan PNP, stated that the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Meycauayan CPS, Plaridel, Hagonoy, and Angat MPS conducted anti-illegal drug operations that resulted in the arrest of seven drug peddlers.
Confiscated from the arrested suspects were a total of twenty-seven (27) sachets of suspected shabu, or 22.48 grams, with a standard drug price value of one hundred fifty-three thousand and thirty-six pesos (Php 153,036.00) and four (4) sachets of suspected marijuana, or 16.7 grams, with a standard drug price value of two thousand and four pesos (Php 2,004.00) and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, a series of manhunt operations were conducted by the Tracker Team of joint operatives of the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company and Malolos CPS, joint operatives of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, Santa Maria MPS, and RMFB 3, and joint operatives of San Jose Del Monte CPS and Sto. Dominigo MPS, Albay PPO, Meycauayan, San Miguel, Hagonoy, Bocaue, Santa Maria, Bulakan, and San Jose Del Monte CPS resulted in the arrest of eleven (11) individuals by virtue of Warrants of Arrest.
All the arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit or station for proper disposition.
