Senator Imee R. Marcos visited three towns in the province of Bulacan to lead the distribution of the Assistance to Individuals In Crisis Situation (AICS) payout from the program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
The senator personally visited the towns of Obando, Balagtas and Marilao for the said activity in collaboration with the DSWD agency where among those distributed are AICS benefits, school bags and supplies for the qualified residents here.
She went first to Barangay Tawiran in the town of Obando and 1,000 residents here received P3,000 each and school supplies.
Next was the Central School Sports Complex in the town of Balagtas which also provided the same aid to another 1,000 residents.
Then Sen. Marcos went to the AFG Bernardo Memorial Trade School in the town of Marilao and also 1,000 residents here were blessed with cash assistance and bags/school supplies.
After the AICS payout activity, Sen. Marcos proceeded to the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) office in Diliman, Quezon City for the signing of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the New Agrarian Reform Act.
