Robbery and theft suspects arrested in Bulacan

CAMP Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Suspect for Robbery Hold-up, Robbery with force upon things and Qualified Theft were arrested in Bulacan on March 29, 2022.

According to PCol. Rommel Ochave, Acting Provincial Director Bulacan PPO, a hot pursuit operation was conducted at Santisima Trinidad, Malolos City by Calumpit PS as lead unit together with Malolos City PS, resulted to the arrest of the suspect Aldrin Casio a 35-year-old driver for Alleged Robbery Hold-up and Illegal Possession of Firearm in an incident that transpired at about 2:30 pm of March 29, 2022 at an online sabong express establishment at Brgy. Longos, Calumpit, Bulacan.

Casio, entered the establishment and at gun point announced the heist and carted away a pouch containing cash money amounting to PHP 53,856.00 (fifty-three thousand, eight hundred fifty-six pesos).

Seized from the suspect’s possession were the pouch containing cash money amounting to Php three thousand pesos (Php3,000.00) and one (1) .38 slab nose revolver (with no serial number) loaded with two (2) pcs of .38 live ammunition.

Meanwhile, persons in authority of Marilao arrested Jericho Moreno a 33-year-old Call Center Agent of Malolos City, Bulacan for Estafa and Robbery with force upon things.

The said incident transpired at Abangan Norte, Marilao and Patubig, Marilao. Moreno was the suspect identified for renting taxi but failed to pay his fare with the driver. Relatedly, to settle his taxi fare the suspect went to the house of his brother then destroy the door thereat.

Without his brother’s consent, suspect entered his bed room then took and carted away the grey Apple ipad with worth Php. 28,000.00, black/stainless Nautica watch worth Php18,000.00 and black body bag worth Php 800.00.

Thus responding authorities prompted his arrested and was properly turned-over to Marilao PS for proper disposition and custody.

Further, the suspect for the missing fighting cocks at Look 2nd, City of Malolos was arrested by persons in authority of said the barangay.

The suspect identified as Marivic Canete, 30-year-old a part-time helper in the victim’s farm, was caught in the act without permission carrying three (3) fighting cocks to pass it along with his cohort who was just outside that eventually fled away after the victims called their attention.

Bulacan PNP continues to strengthen its implementation against loose firearms and illegal activities to eliminate threats to the community as the election period moves forward.
