Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr., Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), directed all police commanders in Central Luzon to remain vigilant and support local government units (LGUs) as Typhoon Enteng strengthens.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 has been raised across most of Central Luzon as Typhoon Enteng intensifies and is expected to make landfall over the Northern Aurora-Southeastern Isabela region.
“I have instructed our police forces, particularly in the most affected areas, to coordinate closely with their respective LGUs in preparing for and responding to any potential impacts on our communities,” said Hidalgo.
He further directed provincial and city police offices to have PNP personnel and resources on standby for evacuation, search and rescue operations, and other emergency responses related to the storm.
Hidalgo also reminded police officers to continuously coordinate with local authorities to implement safety measures for residents.
“We urge the public to heed the advisories of their local government units, especially in preemptive evacuations, to safeguard their lives and the well-being of their families,” he added.
