The Philippine women’s national volleyball team yielded a 19-25, 27-25, 29-31, 14-25, in the Southeast Asia (SEA) VLeague second league at the Chiang Mai Sports Complex in Thailand on Saturday, August 12.
With the defeat, the national team built around the core of the NU Lady Bulldogs dropped to 0-2, losing their chance to make it to the gold medal match.
The Filipino volleybelles got relegated to the battle for bronze against Indonesia on Sunday, instead.
The Vietnamese, on the other hand, improved to 2-0 and will face Thailand in the battle for gold also on Sunday.
