At a time when the Filipino people are burdened by rising costs, corruption scandals, weakening trust in institutions, and urgent national concerns, the continued push to remove the Vice President appears less like a sincere pursuit of accountability and more like a calculated political maneuver aimed at 2028 and beyond.
We take note of public reports that certain organized sectors, including religious and civic communities, are considering long-term political consequences for public officials who support the impeachment. Whether or not these reports are formally confirmed, the message is clear: public office carries political accountability. Voters, communities, organizations, and parties have every right to remember who stood where when democratic choice was under attack.
PDP will take the same principled stand.

A political party has the right and the duty to protect its principles, its members, and the mandate of the people it represents. PDP will not be a shelter for officials who participate in what we view as a partisan attempt to overturn the will of more than 32 million Filipinos who elected Vice President Sara Duterte.
The Filipino people are watching. The party is watching. History is watching.
Those who choose political persecution must be prepared to face political consequences.
