P540K llegal drugs confiscated, 19 suspects arrested in Bulacan

Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Bulacan Police carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs valued at 540k including the arrest of nineteen drug personalities and two  illegal gamblers on April 14 and 15, 2024.

 

Based on reports received by PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director Bulacan PPO, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Jose Del Monte City PS conducted a successful drug sting operation that resulted in the arrest of six (6) drug personalities at around 2:00 p.m. of April 14, 2024, in Cadiz Road, Brgy. Yakal, Francisco Homes, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. Confiscated from the suspects were thirteen sachets of suspected shabu, weighing 60 grams with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 408,000 along with marked money.

 

Moreover, separate buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the San Ildefonso, Pandi, Hagonoy, Meycauayan, and San Jose Del Monte City Police Station wherein nineteen (19) drug peddlers were arrested. Seized during the operations were twenty-seven (27) plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of (Php 138,276), assorted drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money.

 

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court.

 

Meanwhile, an anti-illegal gambling operation conducted by San Jose Del Monte CPS successfully led to the arrest of two (2) illegal gamblers while they were caught in the act of playing an illegal coin game (Cara y Cruz) that transpired in Feliciano Subdivision, Brgy. Muzon West, CSJDM, Bulacan, at about 4:30 in the afternoon of April 14, 2024. Confiscated from the suspect were three (3) pieces of a one-peso coin used as a pangara and bet money in different denominations.

 

All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit or station for proper disposition.
