OTOP in AC continues yearly 12.12 online live selling, earns P90K

ANGELES CITY — The city government-run One Town One Product store held its 12.12 Pasal-One online live selling with record breaking earnings amounting to P90,455.00.  
 
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., who is personally an avid supporter of Gawang Angeleño products, said this will be a yearly commitment of the city government for OTOP’s continuous promotion. 
 
During his brief visit at the OTOP Store during the live selling, Lazatin bought coco jam and other items as gifts to friends. 
 
Vice Mayor Vicenta “Vicky” Vega-Cabigting, Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel graced the online live selling event which took place at the OTOP store in Barangay Sto. Rosario, at the back of Museo Ning Angeles.
 
Meanwhile, Councilor Arvin “Pogs” Suller and Sanggunian Kabataan President Arnoah Mandani showed their support by buying items from OTOP and raffling them off to viewers such as bags, wooden crafts, and rattan basket. 
 
Calaguas and Manuel also joined in the live selling and bought items including calabash bowls, rattan chairs, wooden crafts, and bags. 
 
Architect Mike Ponio also  bought wood crafts during his visit to the store with Suller and Mandani 
 
Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Officer-in-Charge Irish Bonus-Llego and staff with City Information Office staff led the online live selling. 
 
Vega-Cabigting recognizes the quality Gawang Angeleño products, which really deserve a spotlight in a larger market. 
 
Just like what Mayor Lazatin proudly says, “Kayang-kaya makipagsabayan ng mga produktong Angeleño.” 
 
“Aside from the quality is the hard work reflected in the finished product,” Lazatin said.
 
Among the member-merchant displaying their products in OTOP are Tamayuc, Woodcraft by Madison, Belbel Muyano WoodCraft, Cutud Weaavers, Impact Balibago Arts and Crafts, Ellen Turla, Angel’s Coco Spread, Chilona Fabrica, Flores Handicraft, Tabak’s Handpainted Crafts, Stitched by Raj, K’s Creations.
 
Llego, on the other hand, expressed her thanks to Rei Anicoche – Tan, Owner and CEO of Beautederm, Calaguas, Manuel, and Mr. Julio Pamintuan, Owner of Impact Balibago Arts and Craft for donating raffles items. 
 
Miners were able to win raffle prizes such as Beautederm loot bags, pieces of furnitures from IBAC, microwave oven, and 32 inches smart TV. 
 
Manuel also thanked DFS Manufacturing Corp. for allowing OTOP Store to showcase some of its furniture during the live selling.
