OEC VIOLATOR AND LAWBREAKERS ARRESTED BY BULACAN PNP

Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan—The Bulacan PNP arrested an Omnibus Election Code (OEC) violator and lawbreakers on October 31, 2023.

In reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, San Ildefonso PS authorities reported the arrest of a 64-year-old farmer from Brgy. Maasim in San Ildefonso, Bulacan. He was apprehended for trying to obstruct the arrest of his son, who was the subject of an arrest warrant, while brandishing a bolo. The father was arrested, and complaints for violation of P.D. 1829 (Obstruction of Justice), Illegal Possession of a Deadly Weapon, and Omnibus Election Code violations were filed against him. Meanwhile, the son, who was wanted for the crime of Grave Threat by virtue of a warrant issued by the Municipal Trial of San Ildefonso, was consequently arrested.

Similarly, a felon wanted for the violation of R.A. 9165, was arrested by the tracker team of Malolos City PS at Mojon, Malolos City. All the arrested suspects are presently under the custody of the arresting unit and stations for proper disposition.

In another incident, at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in Brgy. Longos, Pulilan, Bulacan, a violation of RA 10883, the Anti-Carnapping Law, took place, leading to the arrest of a 39-year-old male suspect. The investigation revealed that the victim’s motorcycle had gone missing, prompting him to seek assistance from the authorities. Subsequently, the missing motorcycle was spotted in the possession of the suspect along Old Cagayan Valley Road, and he was promptly arrested by the responding law enforcers.
